The PosiPerle XL Delta (40x40x80cm) is designed for leg and trunk support in side lying.

With its three support points, it particularly supports patients suffering from knee and/or hip spasms, offering an expansive footprint that stabilises the entire lower body.

Functioning as a high-performance anti bedsore pillow, this positioner provides support for contracted legs to assist leg extension and can be used as an alternative to a T-roll when used in combination with the 1/2 circle cushion.

By distributing heavy limb weight across multiple support points, this hugely versatile positioner reduces localised capillary compression to protect fragile skin layers.

Beyond contracture management, this specialized bed cushion for bed sores offers critical utility in preventing equinus foot (drop foot), as it is also possible to use the Delta cushion for foot positioning.

The internal self-moulding polystyrene micro-particles adjust continuously to patient movement, eliminating severe pressure spikes over the ankles, knees, and hips.

To meet rigorous multi-patient decontamination protocols, the PosiPerle XL Delta is constructed with a fluid-impermeable, bi-elastic polyurethane skin and 100% heat-welded seams. Supported by a built-in PneumaPure® filter system, it blocks 99.99% of pathogens down to 0.08μm while remaining fully breathable to prevent skin maceration.

Consider putting the positioners under sheets, inside a pillowcase, or ordering a non stock positioner cover or fitted cushion cover to reduce risk of skin damage if any of the following apply:
