Lower extremity elevation is a cornerstone strategy for reducing venous stasis, managing lower-limb edema, and accelerating recovery following trauma or orthopedic procedures.

The PosiPerle Large Leg Wedge (60x70x15cm) positioning positioner is a high-performance addition to our PosiPerle range, providing much-needed leg support, especially during injury recovery or post-surgery, as well as welcomed comfort.

Functioning as a clinical-grade leg elevation pillow, its precise 15cm angled incline promotes fluid drainage from distal tissues without placing stress on the lumbar spine.

Incorporating this specialised wedge pillow for legs into 24-hour postural care protocols helps tissue viability nurses (TVNs) and carers systematically prevent or relieve pressure sores and ulcers by maintaining optimal microvascular perfusion across the calves and thighs.

Designed with a broad 60x70cm footprint, this expansive leg raise pillow supports both legs simultaneously, eliminating inter-limb contact and lateral rotation.

The internal high-quality round polystyrene micro-particles adapt dynamically to individual patient morphology, distributing interface pressures evenly across a wide contact area to prevent localised pressure spikes over bony prominences.

Wrapped in a bi-elastic, fluid-proof polyurethane cover with hermetically heat-sealed seams, the cushion integrates PneumaPure® filtration technology. This provides a validated mechanical barrier down to 0.08μm against liquid ingress and airborne biological pathogens, while keeping the surface well-ventilated and dry to preserve fragile skin integrity.

The positioners are composed of high-quality round polystyrene micro particles that adapts to all morphologies and allows supportive, pressure relieving formation to patient’s body shape giving comfort in difficult circumstances.

The positioners are made with high quality durable Polyurethane and Polyamide providing a soft touch feeling.

Multi Patient Use
