Acting as a specialised semi fowler pillow, its unique three-channel geometric profile ensures that the lower limbs are securely held in a neutral position, effectively offloading the heels by suspending or redistributing their weight across the calves. 

Furthermore, to prevent equinus foot, it is also possible to use this positioner in combination with the Delta foot positioner, establishing a comprehensive lower limb alignment system that protects vulnerable skin layers while boosting long-term patient comfort.
