The PosiPerle Half-Moon Microbead Positioner (180 x 30cm) is a hugely versatile medical device engineered to provide comprehensive, wrap-around support.

This specialised half moon pressure sore cushion maintains and perfectly holds the back, thus improving the patient’s self-perception and psychological security within their sleeping environment.

Due to its anatomically optimised semi-circular geometry, you only require one positioner to perfectly hold the shoulders and head, eliminating the need to stack multiple uncoordinated pillows that can easily shift and cause dangerous postural collapse or dangerous pressure spikes.

Beyond its exceptional upper-body utility, this large posiperle cushion is highly adaptable and also provides excellent knee support and lower limb abduction control when reversed, making it a true full body pressure cushion solution.

The internal self-moulding polystyrene microbeads fluidly shift under the patient’s weight to mirror their exact morphology, eliminating gaps and evenly distributing interface pressures away from the shoulder blades, spine, and sacrum.

To support rigorous ward hygiene standards, the entire Posiperle positioner is wrapped in a fluid-proof, breathable polyurethane skin with heat-welded seams and a PneumaPure® pathogen filter.

Consider putting the positioners under sheets, inside a pillowcase, or ordering a non stock positioner cover or fitted cushion cover to reduce risk of skin damage if any of the following apply:

Positioners can be ordered with covers – this is recommended for clients who struggle with temperature control or are being treated for any pre-existing skin conditions. (E.G Excessive sweating, dry skin, broken skin, eczema, use of medicated or skin barrier creams).
