Maintaining lateral stability and neutral joint alignment is essential for reducing tissue deformation in bedbound patients.

The PosiPerle PP8049 – Arc Positioner (30x78cm) is a specialised, medium-to-large arc cushion designed to deliver flexible, contouring support across the upper and lower extremities.

This PosiPerle Microbead Arc Cushion is adaptable and suitable for a range of uses, including head & neck support or knee support; providing support, comfort and prevention of or relief from pressure sores and ulcers.

Whether deployed as a dedicated arc pillow to cradle the cervical spine and shoulders or as a supportive microbead cushion for legs to prevent inter-limb friction and abduct the knees, its ergonomic curve provides continuous stabilization that preserves long-term tissue health and enhances sleep quality.

The internal core of this PosiPerle positioner is packed with high-quality, self-moulding round polystyrene micro-particles that shift under patient weight to maximize surface contact area, neutralising dangerous localised pressure spikes over critical bony zones.

It is particularly effective for managing patients with spasticity, axial weakness, or post-stroke motor deficits who require gentle structural reinforcement to prevent postural collapse.

Constructed with a fluid-proof, soft-touch polyurethane skin and fully welded seams, the cushion includes an integrated PneumaPure® pathogen filter. This combination ensures a certified 0.08μm mechanical barrier against biological cross-contamination while ensuring high breathability for optimal microclimate regulation at the skin interface.
