Containing microbeads, PosiHeel positioners are hypoallergenic pillows with nano-porous filters, designed to prevent allergens.

Supportive and breathable, PosiHeel positioning cushions can adapt to all body shapes to relieve pressure while providing postural support.

An offloading positioner cushion, this is an ideal choice for pressure relief from injury and redistributing pressure from one area of the body to another; perfect for the prevention of or relief from pressure sores and ulcers.

Featuring Microbeads

Microbead technology allows the positioner to adapt to all morphologies forming the patient’s body shape to cleverly relive pressure and promote neutral body alignment.

PosiHeel Self Moulding Technology

The PosiHeel Positioner is designed to address both pressure injury prevention, infection control, offloading & positioning by automatically moulding to the patient’s body through 3D macro-contouring.

Featuring a clean air filter

PosiHeel positioners feature a built in PneumaPure Filter, a clinically proven filter allowing clean air flow while blocking viruses, allergens, microbes and mould. Hermetically saled seams allow for a complete barrier with no stitch holes.

The filter allows clean air to flow into the positioners, blocking out pathogens and allergens such as MRSA, C. difficile, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida, albicans, Aspergillus niger, Norovirus, Influenze Type A, Adenovirus 5 and Coronavirus, 229E.

Superb Soft Touch Material

The positioners are made with high quality durable Polyurethane and Polyamide providing a soft touch feeling.

Multi Patient Use

Designed for use in medical circumstances, PosiHeel positioners are fully waterproof and include the pure air filter so can be reused after being cleaned.

Consider putting the positioners under sheets, inside a pillowcase, or ordering a non stock positioner cover or fitted cushion cover to reduce risk of skin damage if any of the following apply:

  • Positioners can be ordered with covers – this is recommended for clients who struggle with temperature control or are being treated for any pre-existing skin conditions. (E.G Excessive sweating, dry skin, broken skin, eczema, use of medicated or skin barrier creams).
  • The use of heated or weighted blankets is not recommended
  • All PosiHeel positioners are to be used with the guidance provided by the Health Care professional.
  • Positioners are not to be used on an open undressed wound.
  • This guide serves as a template for positioning the cushions with the client. PosiHeel positioners are designed to offload sensitive areas. User discretion is advised
  • Cushion position is to be repositioned as frequent as possible for the end users comfort and within the means of the level of care provided.
  • Good moving and handling practice for insertion and removal of positioner to avoid skin damage or injury to carers.
