Lower Limb Positioner Kit

The PosiPerle Lower Limb Positioner Kit is a set of specialised cushions used to stabilise the legs, relieve pressure, and ensure proper posture.

Bony areas of the lower limbs – such as the heels, lateral malleolus, and knees – are highly vulnerable to rapid tissue breakdown caused by continuous interface pressure and friction against bedding. 

Implementing a dedicated lower limb pressure cushion system within a 24-hour care plan allows clinicians to effectively offload these high-risk areas. 

The self-moulding polystyrene microbeads inside each cushion adapt precisely to individual anatomical contours, distributing weight evenly across a broader surface area to prevent capillary occlusion and preserve skin integrity, directly safeguarding patient comfort and long-term wellbeing.

Engineered for versatility, this medical-grade kit serves either as clinical pressure care or surgical support, depending on the context of the user’s needs. 

The comprehensive kit provides medical professionals with immediate access to five specialised positioners including the Semi Fowler, Cylindrical, and Delta cushions – all organised within a durable transport bag. 

When managing post-operative orthopedic recovery or complex contractures, each lower limb positioning cushion and lower limb positioning pillow can be precisely configured to maintain neutral alignment and eliminate friction between the knees. 

To meet the stringent infection control standards of multi-patient clinical environments, every positioner features bi-elastic, waterproof polyurethane covers with hermetically heat-sealed seams. 

This design is combined with PneumaPure® filtration technology, which acts as a certified mechanical barrier down to 0.08μm, blocking 99.99% of pathogens while maintaining breathability for optimal microclimate control.
