When treating larger patients or managing complex bed setups that require wider surface coverage, the Posi Pillow Fibre Filled PneumaPure Filter (50 x 60cm) offers expanded dimensional support to safeguard tissue integrity.

This large posiperle cushion is engineered specifically for clinicians, nurses, and carers who require a broader, high-performance posi pillow interface to execute precise offloading strategies.

The generous 50 x 60cm footprint of this large posi pillow ensures that even during involuntary patient movement or nocturnal shifting, the head, neck, or shoulders remain securely cushioned against hard bed frames and mattresses.

This continuous redistribution of interface pressure is essential for suppressing capital capillary occlusion, thereby significantly mitigating the risk of deep tissue injuries and advanced stage pressure ulcers over critical bony prominent zones.

At the core of this specialised medical device is the integration of PneumaPure® filtration technology, which delivers a certified, nano-porous mechanical barrier to pathogen ingress.

This ensures that while the pillow functions seamlessly as an adaptable pressure sore cushion, its internal fibre components are 100% protected against biological contamination without requiring laundering between patient rotations.

The outer bi-elastic polyurethane fabric stretches dynamically with the patient’s movements, preventing the harmful “hammocking” effect that spikes localized skin friction.

By remaining fully well-ventilated and breathable, it actively wicks away metabolic heat and moisture, maintaining an optimal microclimate that protects compromised skin layers while reinforcing excellent structural alignment and patient comfort.

Our PosiPerle® cushions feature hermetically heat-sealed seams. This construction provides a complete barrier with no stitching holes, effectively eliminating the primary pathway for internal contamination.

Fibre filled positioners gently contour to the patient’s body, providing stable support that relieves pressure while helping to maintain natural body alignment.

The positioners are composed of high-quality fibre filling that adapts to all morphologies and allows supportive, pressure relieving formation to patient’s body shape giving comfort in difficult circumstances.

The positioners are made with high quality durable Polyurethane and Polyamide providing a soft touch feeling.

Multi Patient Use

Designed for use in medical circumstances, the positioners are fully waterproof and include the pure air filter so can be reused after being cleaned.

PosiPerle® Pressure Care Positioning Cushions are certified as Class 1 in the EU and US.
